Black + White Bals Masques

Saturday, January 23, 2010 @ 8 p.m.

This fabulous masquerade ball was created from plans to celebrate the Square Society's 10th Anniversary. It is a revival of the organization's own Black & White Ball from the late 1990s, coupled with the glamour and intrigue of Truman Capote's Black & White Ball in 1966.

Join the Square Society each January for an evening of elegance, intrigue, mystery & dancing. Masqueraders have the option of dancing to live music in the ballroom or settling down at the piano bar with our pianist.

The dress is black and/or white cocktail attire, black tie optional, mask required.

Holiday Cocktail Crawl

  Don't be a Scrooge - don your Santa hat, and join the Square Society, Saturday December 12, 2009 for our annual Holiday Downtown Cocktail Crawl! This will be one you don't want to miss! Tickets are on sale now. You must be at least 21 with a valid ID to attend.

Microfestivus

The Square Society presents the 13th annual Microfestivus, a micro and craft beer festival. Taste from a selection of over 50 beers from over 20 micro and craft breweries from the Mid-Atlantic region. Details for 2010's Microfestivus are not yet finalized. Please check back to the Microfestivus website for more future updates. You must be at least 21 with a valid ID to attend.

Valentini

  Join the Square Society & Q-99's Dick & Dave on February 5, 2010 as we celebrate romance at the the annual Valentini Bachelor & Bachelorette Auction!

What better way to show the love-at-first-sight woman or man of your dreams that you've got what it takes to blow all the other contenders out of the water, than by outbidding the competition. Whether you want to have a one-of-a-kind great night out, add some spice to your social life, or get involved in a fun and worthy cause, Valentini is sure to give you a night to remember!

Each year local hotties will line up to auction themselves off for a good cause (not to mention a free dinner). From area professionals to local dignitaries to media personalities, you can bid on dates with these bachelors/etts that will include tickets (such as Golf for two, Symphony tickets, Theatre Tickets, Bowling, REDSOX games, etc.) and Dinner at local restaurants.

Activities Committee Events

The Square Society's Activities Committee is busy each year planning both monthly and marquee event.s

Some of the events planned by this committee are the annual Halloween Party, the Little Black Dress Party, the Square Society Sports Series, our monthly Thirsty Thursday mixers, and our upcoming first annual Glow Ball Golf Tournament.
