Imagine a cocktail party, where guests arrive dressed in stunning attire with their identities concealed by elaborate masks, prepared to be one of the exclusive 500 in attendance at THE event of 2010.

This year's event is being held on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 8:00pm at The Hotel Roanoke's Crystal Ballroom.

This fabulous masquerade ball was created from plans to celebrate the Square Society's 10th Anniversary. It is a revival of the organization's own Black & White Ball from the late 1990s, coupled with the glamour and intrigue of Truman Capote's Black & White Ball in 1966.

Join the Square Society for an evening of elegance, intrigue, mystery & dancing. Masqueraders have the option of dancing to live music in the ballroom or settling down at the piano bar with our pianist.

The dress is black and/or white cocktail attire, black tie optional, mask required.

This event is limited to 500 attendees and is expected to sell out.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Square Society’s mission of raising funds and awareness for Center in the Square and its member organizations.
